Editor of Waterville Mail Threatens to come to town, September 28, 1849

This interesting, and somewhat cryptic when read out-of-context (maybe we will discover the context), short report, from the Bangor Daily Whig and Courier, reads:

The editor of the Waterville Mail is getting desperate. He threatens to take a trip to Kendall’s Mills, or West Waterville, if he can raise enough money to get there, without stopping for enough also to get back again.
